BOOKING YOUR HUNT

Booking your whitetail hunt is the most important part of the process.
The majority of all hunts are booked a year or two in advance to ensure your dates are locked in.

We take a very limited number of hunters per week. We are trying to
keep the pressure off the deer and provide a more personable hunting experience.

Our lodge and deer leases are located in Unit 10 when applying for a tag.

A $2,000 (non-refundable) deposit is required to book your dates.

No deposit = no confirmed dates.

Balance will be due once your draw results are in (approx June 15th).

If you do not draw a tag your deposit will roll over to the next year, for the same
dates.  KS will issue you 1 preference point to use for the following year.

The year you make your deposit will be the year your hunt is priced off of, even if you have to roll your hunt over.

Prices could go up the following season, so get your deposit in as quickly as possible.

Each hunter is responsible for applying for and paying for their own deer tag and KS hunting license.

Feel free to contact us anytime in your application process. We would be happy to help.

FAQ

The Kansas non-resident deer draw is a lottery system used to allocate deer permits to non-residents. The draw is based on a preference point system and gives weighted preference to applicants who have been unsuccessful in recent years.

KS nonresident tags are on draw system.  It is possible to draw with no preference points or it might take 1 point the following year.

KS archery season opens mid-September and runs through December 31st.  We accept hunters for the first 2 weeks of the season (but will only be afternoon hunts) unless you want to kill a doe.  Otherwise most of our hunts booked will be late October through mid-December.

If you would like a particular week or even a shorter 3 day hunt or a longer 10 day hunt please email, text, or call us to discuss.

Our treestands are ladderstands (heights vary depending on cover/terrain).  Blinds also available on certain leases.  This provides a much safer hunt and makes for a more comfortable sit (especially for rut hunters).

Safety harnesses are a must and required at all times when hunting.  If you do not have a harness we can provide you one to use.

There is a $750 wound fee.  If you shoot an animal and we are unable to locate it and want to continue hunting you must pay the fine first.  So please make an ethical and realistic shot.

We are in Unit 10.

You have the option to donate your deer meat.
